Georgetown Elementary

 The Georgetown Elementary School is located directly across from the A.A. MacDonald Memorial Gardens in the heart of the town. The school grades range from kindergarten to grade eight. Older students are bussed to Montague High School. Currently (2007) the school has 97 students attending. Georgetown Kindergarten

Holland College

The Atlantic Welding and Fabrication Centre (AWFC), is the 22,000 ft, Welding, Fabrication and Pipe-Trades and Commercial Diving training facility of Holland College. Constructed in 1998, the Centre features bright, ventilated shops, seminar rooms, a comfortable study / resource centre, computer lab, metallurgy lab and spacious lunch area. This centre offers full time and customized training programs for  individuals preparing for a career or who currently involved in welding, plumbing, steamfitting, pipe fitting and/or commercial diving fields. The College's Commercial Diving program has received national accreditation from the Diver Certification Board making the College one of the three training institutions in North America to receive this accreditation.  Currently Holland College and the AWFC offer courses in: Plumbing, Steamfitting/ Pipefitting, Welding, Welding Fabrication and Commercial Diving.
